Payment
We accept Amazon Payments, America Express, BitCoin, Discover, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Product Origin
While we try and keep manufacturing in the United States, it does not matter to us where a manufacturer is located as long as we can establish a good relationship with them. The relationship depends on them treating their employees with respect, prompt delivery, and quality, among other things.
Here is a list of products and country of origin: (1) bolstr: USA, (2) Slimmy Wallets: Dominican Republic.
We also carry products from other manufacturers. Please check with these brands directly on the country of origin of their respective products.
Returns and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your order, you can return any product for a full refund. Items must be returned in unused and new condition, in the original packaging. We do not refund shipping charges.
For US orders, we can recover your package. When processing your refund, we issue a credit less a $5 processing fee.
For international orders, all customs, duties, taxes, and any other charges are the customer's responsibility and cannot be refunded.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days or if the item(s) are soiled or worn.
If you would like to exchange or return an item you ordered, please send them back in the original packaging, along with a copy of your invoice to bolstr - Returns 1284 SOM Center Rd. STE 192 Cleveland, OH 44124

Write a clear and concise answer to guide your customers.
We use crowdfunding as a means to test new ideas. It takes a lot to launch a new product, and we offer discounts to backers who help us get our ideas off the ground. As a crowdfunding backer, you pledge in support of launching these new ideas. And the items you receive for pledging are considered rewards or gifts we send as a thank you.
We do not allow cancellations or returns once a crowdfunding project closes.
If you are not happy with your reward, we hope you will consider one of these options: (1) Sell your bolstr®. (2) Give bolstr to a friend as a gift. (3) Give bolstr a second look - perhaps you overlooked its usefulness.
Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Via Shopify Payments, PayPal and other payment processes, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and processed with AES-256 encryption.
Once your credit card information is accepted, we receive a notification that triggers your order to be picked, packed and shipped. We never receive your credit card information when you make an online purchase and do not keep it on file in any way.
Shipping
We ship to many countries outside of the United States. However, we do not ship to these countries/continents: Africa, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam.
We use Borderguru to allow international customers to estimate and pre-pay duties and taxes respective to their country.
For other delivery services, customs, duties, taxes, and any other charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and cannot be refunded.
We offer competitive international shipping rates to help offset duties.
We offer competitive shipping rates and use USPS, DHL, FedEx and other low-cost, reliable shipping services that are unavailable to the general public.
USPS and UPS may be substituted with equivalent services and are subject to change. Most orders ship FOB McHenry, IL 60050 or Cleveland, OH 44114.

Disclaimer: bolstr is not responsible for refunding charges for shipping, handling and lost or damaged goods. If you are shipping to a business or office building, we are not responsible if your building company's internal mail service cannot deliver the package.
You may file a claim or we can file one on your behalf.

Warranty
At bolstr, quality is implicit. From materials of construction to specifications and processes on how we design and manufacture, we are committed to providing the highest quality products. We offer products from other manufacturers, who all have their warranties.
Slimmy and bolstr products: 1 year warranty against defects (straps, zippers, etc), but not normal wear and tear.
Warranty for non-house brands does not apply. Please refer to their respective website for warranty information.
Disclaimer: bolstr does not offer an unconditional guarantee for the product's life. While we use the best materials and manufacturing standards available, this does not guarantee that products are indestructible. Therefore, we do not guarantee damaged products due to abuse or mishandling. Also, we do not cover incidental or consequential damages, such as loss or damage to the contents carried in one of our products. Importantly, we do not guarantee against wear and tear from a product's misuse over 90 days.
