bolstr® Launches' Black Canvas:' Collaborative Works With Aaron Williams (AKA Aawful AAron).

Emerging multimedia artist Aaron Williams collaborates with bolstr on limited edition Slimmy® OG Wallets.

(July 21, 2022, Cleveland, Ohio) - Today, bolstr launches (available on 07/23) the company's flagship Slimmy OG 3-Pocket Wallet donned in original art by emerging multimedia artist Aaron William as a continuation of its 'Black Canvas' initiative. 

"I've been following Aawful Aaron for a few years and was initially drawn to his work via an 'Inside Out' street art exhibit in the Waterloo District of Cleveland. We are honored to work on this collaboration with him," said Jay Yoo, Founder of Bolstr.

"Gorilla Warfare" is a limited edition print of William's signature screaming gorilla head design on the Slimmy® OG wallet. This collectible captures the inner beast at war with itself, fighting for individuality and freedom from the trappings of society. It is a call to claim our own, as our own, unadulterated by outside forces.

“The three-pass print technique reveals a slight reddish tint with a raised texture and is permanent. We tweaked the process to get what the artist wanted and could not be happier with the outcome,” explains Yoo. 

These Black Canvas wallets are made to order and available in limited quantities -- price: $59.

bolstr will go live on Instagram at 2:30 PM EDT on 7/23 from the festival to showcase the collaboration.

Williams is a multimedia artist and entrepreneur from Cleveland, OH. Using a variety of mediums, Williams' work has been exhibited in art spaces and collaborative forms across the US.
